Dear subscriber,
Happy Friday!
I used to believe that I needed tens of years of experience to get to Senior level.
So instead of improving my skills, I waited.
I procrastinated. I postponed.
Then I met Greg. A self-taught developer with 3 years of experience. You can't imagine my embarrassment when I realized that he was already a Senior developer.
At first, I denied reality. I told to myself people like Greg got lucky. He's been in the right place at the right time.
But I still couldn't take it. So I decided to study what he and other high-performing developers were doing. I become obsessed.
And that's what I teach my mentees nowadays. The results?
In the last weeks only, 5 of the developers that joined us already made it to the next level. Some of them got better-paying jobs with more responsibility.
Others got promoted to levels they never imagined.
Like Nabil, who joined us just after being laid off. He used his last savings to get on board with us. A hard decision that paid off.
6 weeks into the Software Mastery program, Nabil closed his knowledge gaps, rebuilt his confidence, and got a new job with a 30% pay increase and a Senior title.
Nabil can't believe it. I can.
I can because I've seen it happen dozens of times. I've seen David a JS developer from London leave the Junior level behind forever and move into a Mid/Senior position with a 35% pay increase. I've seen Constantin and Khen get promoted after only a few weeks of joining. And many others.
You are receiving this email because you were interested to join Software Mastery.
By now, you should have seen hundreds of developers getting these kinds of results. But maybe you feel like you are not ready yet.
Maybe you want to get your schedule straight first. Maybe you want more time. Maybe you need more clarity before you join.
But, here's a fun thought:
The developers I mentioned had none of that. In fact, they were probably behind you. But now they are ahead.
You could give yourself more time to make a decision. 100%. But you don't need time to make decisions.
You need information.
This is why I put aside some time in the afternoon this week for you to book a call and ask me anything about your specific situation.
I can help you find out what is the right path for you and draft a strategy for you to gain Senior level confidence. Afterward, you can decide if you want us to help you implement it or go at it alone.
Worst-case scenario you talk for 30 minutes with someone who is an expert at getting people like you to Senior Developer and beyond.
Best case scenario, you make more progress in your career than you ever made since you started.
