When the specifications are clear, or they need another grooming. When things will break, and when they won’t.

To become more confident, you need to become more competent. To improve your technical skills.

Nothing new here.

But, how can you become more confident when you don’t have the skill?

How can you act confidently when you are still learning?

If you lack clarity, spend some time refining your goals. Do you have to learn all those frameworks to get that new job? Probably not.

Do some more research. Eliminate nice to haves. Focus.

If you lack execution, you need to put in place an accountability system for yourself. That can be an Excel sheet where you track your progress.

Or, even better, a community where you interact with other developers on the same path as you.

The best is to have both :)
