This is for you if you never “have enough time” to make progress in your developer career.

Imagine this...

The person you love most in your life gets hurt. They need to get to a hospital fast. Or they will die.

So you jump into the car and drive to the hospital. As you drive, you notice a weird smell in the car. It’s the oil. It needs to be changed.

Do you stop and change the oil?

No.

You keep on driving.

You drive a bit more and realize one of the tires is losing pressure. Do you stop and change the tire?

No.

You keep on driving.

You are almost there, but you are hungry. Very hungry. A nice restaurant pops up in front of you. Do you stop and have some breakfast?

No.

You keep on driving. You get to the hospital and you save their life.

Oh, Dragos, your example is too extreme.

Life is not so dramatic.
