  1. What is your goal? What is the specific thing you are trying to achieve?
  1. Why do you want to achieve it? Do you need this or is it just nice to have? If it is not the priority right now, forget about it. If this is the main priority right now, proceed to the next step.
  1. What is your deadline? When do you want to achieve it?
  1. What is stopping you from achieving it? What do you need to achieve it? Is it “mindset barriers” Eg. “I don’t think I am good enough for this” or “material barriers”, I need to improve certain skills and build certain things.
  1. Is your obstacle a “mindset barrier”? Understand that is your mind playing games with you. What you might think about yourself is irrelevant. Get back in the game and let feedback tell you what you can and cannot do.
  1. Is your obstacle a “material barrier”? Define the steps you need to make it happen. Eg. study JavaScript fundamentals for 5 hours and take a technical assessment to check my skills. Eg. do market research on developer jobs for 10 hours and re-write my CV.
  1. Double-check every step. See if you are missing something.
  1. Add those steps to your TO DO list and your Calendar.
  1. Pick the first task and do it. Don’t think about it. Just do it.
