Happy Friday!
Despite everything you read online… The world is not going to hell!
AI is not going to replace programmers.
The software industry is not going to collapse.
Being able to think systematically and instructing a computer to do the so via coding will continue to be one of the most valuable skills one can learn for decades!
Once the generative AI hype machine runs out of gas... And everyone will see what a fake promise it was...
Most developers will will wish they used this time a bit more wisely... And kept improving their skills.
The quitters will wish they didn't gave up so fast!
Remember, the only way you can really mess this up is by getting distracted by all the BS out there… And not using TODAY to get better!
Every day you don’t make a step forward in your life…. Is a wasted day!
The same applies to your developer career.
Spend your time doing things. Get lost in your craft. Whatever tomorrow brings will be the fruit of what you planted today…
