AI fails to live expectations - LLMs' ability to solve problems proves to be very limited as they can’t think, English is a poor programming language, and LLMs fail to 100% automate human jobs in the foreseeable future.
Demand for software developers recovers - as the macroeconomic situation improves, but the market stays competitive as companies can now hire remotely - not every developer will be able to take advantage of the recovering market.
Coding Bootcamps will still be in high demand - as ChatGPT advice falls short on implementation and makes for poor guidance.
The frontend market becomes more and more competitive - more and more frontend developers are moving into the full stack.
Developers' salaries keep going up, particularly for Senior developers - this creates a massive gap between developers—the underpaid ones who didn’t switch jobs and are victims of inflation—and the ones who switch jobs using inflation in their favor.
